Default Spring is here

Hi guys,

Time to dig out the Skydivers and get dropping
I think here in Virginia we are ready for warmer weather, the grass is greening up.
Got in a few drops this past Sunday.
Still no word on the date for the Muncie 2014 Rally, I sent the organizers an email to see if they have a date set.

Cool video, what material is the target made from and how big is the outer diameter.
i know you guys measure in cm from the center for the score, low score wins
here in the US in our 1 meet we have a year, we have target with concentric circles as yours, but each ring is assigned a point value.
Our center is 100, then decreases in value towards the outside.
Our target is painted with upside down paint like used for marking utility lines.
i would like to make something to use like this using a tarp or cloth that could be reused and is easier to mark the landing spot.

Hello Gary,

The target that they used in Germany called "mesh" it is an open fabric cloth (kind of pvc) that be used for billboards.
The outer diameter of the target is 10 meter, every colour circle in the target is 1 meter.
"mesh fabric nylon"
.
We have a cheaper target, it calls "anti worteldoek" and we make it by ouwerselfs, also the "blokken" for marking the landingspot of the jumper. These are made of rubber they were used under tiles for drainage on flat roofs. I will to make a few pictures of ouwer target so you can see how we made it.

In the film you see a blue rope started in the middle of the target to the edge, that is the wind direction. We must landing against the wind with the canopy, and the feet first if you don't landing with the feet first and don't against the wind you have a pointpenalty.
If you or anyone have more questions about the target please ask for answers.

Greetings

Hi Gary, It was great getting to see you again!! The Joe Nall was incredible.. The wind could have been a little better but still had a blast.. Wish I could have gotten some pics or a video of you and Chris's drops at the 3D flight line.. Is there a set of written rules used for Muncie contest?

Hi Looping, Does your group have a written set of rules for your Skydiving contest that we could get a copy of?

Talk to you guys soon!!
