I think someone who's entering for the first time should get that 100 points also!! Been working with that 6" bullseye,, only hit it 3 out of 5 times yesterday, maybe today the wind wont be blowing 20 knots... Lol

That's good Ken, you are going to need all those points to make up for the static line penalties.

As for the 100 points for a first timer, you should get another deduction for being in the hobby as long as you have and never been to any of the rally's.

This is the 15th year for the Muncie rally.
4 at the CORKS field
I in Somerset
3 or 4 Will had at the Southern Indiana club.

and where have you been?

Don't worry I'll bring the golf cart to go pick yours up.

Way to go Paul---get over to Muncie and show these young whippersnappers how RC Skydiving is supposed to be done!! I would love to be there but can't make it this year. Had 2 foot operations to try to correct the damage done during my Army Infantry days. Too many walking miles! Age has nothing to do with it!
Hope ya'll all have a great time.

Make sure to post the winners with their total points. Would be nice to see everyone's final points.

Gary,
That is one cool looking target. I'm looking forward to trying to hit the 100 point circle.

Hi Gary,
The target is looking good and is to see clear the score, what is the diameter of your target(total) and between the circles?
Witch or what kind of rules do you use?

@ Hello Paul,
I met you in Holland a few years back in a contest parajumping, and a lot of the jumpers has sweet memrories about your visit by ower contest.
I have to give all the best and greetings from Theo V and Jules M.

Hi looping,

The target is a 24' round tarp, but the finished size is approx. 22'6" (6.8 M)
I know in the European contest the score is measured in cm from the center so low score is winner.
We assign point values to the rings and add up score, so more is better.
The center 100 point is 12" diameter lexan
The rings are 18" apart which means the 90 point circle is 24" diameter then the radius of the next circle is 18" bigger and so on.
The plan was to make each a ring a different color to make it easier to keep up with where you landed.

The multirotor (unless you are the news media then it is a drone) looks good Chris.

Thanks Gary,
It is a little small. I am going to build a 800 next, that one is a f550. It will take the diver up, but only to about 500 to 400 feet.

Hi Gary,
Thanks al lot to answer my questions. It's different to measured like in the european contest but not difficult to understand how you measured.
The german target has also different color circles. If we have saved a lot of money with all the contesten we can buy a new target with more colors for holland.

Greetings

Gary,

I notice you made the Bullseye orange in color. I bet that was just for Juan!

Greetings to my friend in Holland and Jim in Alabama! You've heard of the Ceremonial Golfers, I'll be the same type in Muncie. It's just not as much fun anymore. Even need help packing my Mike. I'm down to flying "Foamies". I mail and talk via phone with Jules frequently. He's a great friend and I wish he could visit this year.

Hi to all my old friends ,
Sorry I will not be at the Muncie rally ,to show you guy's how it's done , and do some pants pulling again ,,have some great pleasant memory's of those Muncie Rally's we intended all these years ,that where the good old day's.
The extra positive thing I read is that the Bullseye is Orange and that only to please Juan !

The reason for not coming is my health ,it is to bad and is keeping me from Rc skydiving anymore these day's ,(also at home) .
"Looping" is a good friend of me and a very nice guy ,and a fanatic skydiver for a long time, and we had a lot of fun together with the other Dutch skydivers ,but that's history ,the mind is willing but the body is not cooperating anymore .

I am planing to visit my friend Paul in the first week of October to dig up some good old memory's together ,and go flying some Foamies, and be bad boys and fly Quadcopter's or if you like the forbidden "DRONE'S" with a camera
yep that old Paul is up to date ,and has a drone from Hobbyking with GPS, Way, points and auto coming home (I hope it's still flying when I am coming over ,LOL )

The sad thing is that my beloved place to go out and have a good time "HOOTERS" is not anymore in Columbus ,all the girls where so nice Paul ,Paul you have to find a other place to do some sneaky lurking at the waitresses !
Don't laugh that's what guys do !

I hope you guys are having clear blue sky's at the contest in Muncie and a great time .

And Jim good luck with your operations.

Orange power ! And greetings to you all .

,Jules

I am looking forward to coming over again, it has been awhile. Weather is looking nice and cool, let's just hope for calm winds. It will be great to see everyone again. See some of you Friday.
