If you free fall; one Micro Servo to pull the release pin; and a regular standard size servo for drop box; and the 2 you mentioned for the arms.

The Rc Skydiving micro only uses TWO servos in the diver thats all that will fit in there you will see. The micro drop box can use any servo I use the HS-55 with tape to the side of the box. To freefall the diver uses the same servo in it to pull the chute. You will see this will be easy for you when you get it in and look at it. Have fun and happy falling. I have two micros and one ultimate from RCSkydiving.com (check out the little orange guy on his website that is one of mine, MJ is his name LOL) all togehter for the Diver to have full drop and freefall from the diver TX I use TWO recievers, one in the diver of coarse and one binded to the same model (Spektrum) in the plane for the drop box, and THREE servos Two in the diver and one on the Box.

Hi dyl55 ,

My franc talking is not that good to have a conversation in technical how and why stuff , The guy U need to talk to is Theo Vaesen of TV produkts .
He is talking France in a descend way and is able to tel you everything you need to know about rc skydiving !

You can find him in the section Rc Locator -Find members - here on Rc Univers , you can contact him by personal mail ,Theo Vaesen

http://www.rcuniverse.com/community/...m?memid=150892

The reason way I don't put up his e-mail address over here in public is ,to avoid Spam .
( he is not in the need of Viagra and stuff like that , not yet I think ![sm=wink_smile.gif])

Good luck , Jules

ORIGINAL: ennyka

I use TWO recievers, one in the diver of coarse and one binded to the same model (Spektrum) in the plane for the drop box, and THREE servos Two in the diver and one on the Box.
What I have done is run an aileron extension from the RX in the jumper which connects to the servo in the drop box. The extension pokes out around the waist and I shaved the connector so it slips apart from the servo very easily when the jumper falls away. This way the jumper's TX/RX controls the drop, chute opening, and the arms. It also prevents a drop if you forget to turn the jumper on or there is some other radio problem.

I have a Futaba 9C TX and set up the channels for the drop and chute opening on the slider levers on the side of the TX. The left slider controls the drop, the right slider releases the chute.
