Hi Gary ,

In one of your earlier posts you are mentioning to have some intention to visit the Longaberger Basket factory, when coming to the Ohio Rally .
Has this become more in sight or is this still a maybe " if "" if " to do thing ?

Jules,

The basket thing was if my wife and son came with me. As of now Wes is coming with me, and I don't think he is into baskets.

You said it right Mike. I can just see Jules going through airport security with a basket in hand-and with a troll in it too!!!

Think there is a new jumper coming to the rally. Sent him the brochure today. Peter Reil is in the Army at Ft Campbell, Ky. He will need a ride on a jump plane. Ya'll gonna have enough jump planes for all us needing a ride?

Did you ever hear from any of the Somerset, Ky guys?

Jim

We'll have plenty of Jump planes... Should be fun.

Sending him up the more the better, glad to hear there are more people interested.

I haven't heard anything from the KY crowd... I don't know if any one has heard anything from them.

Hey KY guy's lets hear something from you,,,,,,, give us shout.[8D]

Hey, anyone in need of a new jump plane? I was contacted by a guy named Dave Chisholm who has this one for sale.

quote from Dave

Well here is the SFK, I’m asking $2500 and it really is a fantastic plane. I know it came from somewhere in Ohio so maybe some of your members may notice it. As you can see it was a Toledo Show entrant that placed 2nd and 3rd . All of the sky diving gear is custom . I have owned it for 2 seasons and never flown it. I hope someone can give it a new home.

end quote from Dave

I suggested that he bring it to the Ohio Rally!! We will all help him get the maiden flight in, right guys?

If interested, pm me and I will forward his contact information. I told him that I would pass the word along.

Hi Paul,

I have seen it fly at the Joe Nall event a few years ago. The best I recall it belonged to a guy in the Alanta GA area.

It had a 3W 75 engine on it back then, and the guy had three Mike jumpers.

I tried to get him to come to the Muncie event but he never made it.

I wonder where the jumpers are now.

We just got back from Joe Nall today, I saw lots of planes and lots of people but not one skydiver.

I did meet a fellow by the name of Steve wearing a green shirt with Columbus/Ft. Benning on it, and he actually admitted to knowing Jim Boone.

Hey Gary,

Thanks for the info on the jump plane. I will ask this guy about the jumpers.

So you saw zero jumpers at Joe Nall...... Maybe you, I and Mike can fix that next year. At least get a couple in the air.

Paul

I think the Super Flying King was originally owned by John Bradley from Athens,GA. He was into our sport for awhile.
Also had a couple of MIKE's

Hey fellas,

I just finished putting together my Hangar 9 Pulse 60. It's going to be my jump plane for my micro jumpers. I can't wait to do some skydiving. See you in July.
