Default confection one PARACHUTE for pilot rc

hello to the all! first I want to congratulate for the excellent forum.

it would like an aid !!

so that I can construct (to confection) to one parachute (canopy) for my pilot rc.

I caught this plan (mold) of parachute in this link of a GERMAN site. e I am finding difficulties to make parachute / pages 49 up to 59.

http://fallschirm.dmfv.aero/hpdocs/p...rmspringer.pdf

already I glue the molds more my doubt is in relaçãoas cells in the behind part of the escape edge.

what I understood was that the profile (mold B) does not go until the end of the screen? therefore this part where he is located the lines of brakes (the lines that are imprisoned in the hand of the pilot rc)?

mold C is for being used only in the tips of parachute?

summarizing: somebody already made this parachute or one another seeming explain could me please as makes? how start to sew the profile in the screen ( panel )?

in the first image, I describe what really I want to know. (comment in the red color)

since already I am thankful for the attention of that they will be able to help me!

thanks !!

anyone that goes to this trouble to post a question, I have to try and help.

I am guessing from the instructions, that the mold template profile for Mold B stops at Leine D, and the rest is a flap, for steering.

Mold C looks like the ends.

hope this helps

Yes, it has a drouge shute, and it deploys. The shute opens sometimes right before Charyl hits the ground..i.e., it takes a looong time to open..The way the shute is packed is most of the problem. When i don't insert The release pins that go over the shoulders in the eyelets, it opens better, During freefall that body could be makin a vacum..that's why I thought about using one of C.R. Fowler's spring loaded pilot chutes.

A spring loaded chute wont do any more good , You need to contact Juan on this forum and see if he has the right way to fold the chute for your jumper
Do you have the instructions for your jumper?

Are you using the "hard" container that comes with the Charly? If so, you should try to make a soft cloth flap type container. RC Skydiver has much experience with Charly's

Hi Ed,

Skydiver is right, I have a lot of experience with Charlys-some not so hot but my screw ups were good learning experiences!

I have a cd I made of the Charly, includes chute packing and how it was modified to stop dirt divesat least about 95% of the time. The quality is not good but it gets the message across. I have sent it out to a lot of folks including Lundy in Belgium. I take credit for all his success!!!!

I will be glad to send you one if you send me an address.

Jim

I will be happy to send you the cd if you will send me your mailing address.

I don't think I can send it by email because of the length. Anyone know of a way to email the contents of a cd?

Jim

Rip the CD into a file on your PC as a wma or other video format supported by windows media player. If it's under 100mb, go to www.yousendit.com and upload it there. Make sure you type rodrigo's email in the recipients box and he'll get a notification once it's uploaded. All he has to do is click on the link he gets via email and download the file to his PC. If all's good, it should play out of windows media player.

Note: not recommended for 48Kbs dial-ups...[:@]

Hi Alex,

Sorry but I can't send the file as it is 665mb. Their limit is 100mb unless I enroll in their service for a monthly fee. I will be happy to mail you one if you send me your mailing address to me at [email protected].

What a great fourm to see fellow rc skydivers helpinng others to get involved. Especially in the DIY part of this hobby.

Nice job, JIM.

RODRIGOrio ,

Be sure to keep us informed on your attempt to making your own parachute. The images in the plans you provided the link to, look very interesting. Now if I could only read German [] I might try to make one of these myself.

Good luck,

Paul
