Default Deploying stores by chute from scale models??

Hi All,

Forgive me if this has been asked before. I've never looked into the skydiving forums before.

I'm researching the possibilities for a new scale kit build of a De Havilland DHC-4 Caribou and thought it would be great if i could tactically deploy some stores on a pallet with a chute the same as our military here in Australia do with the full scale aircraft.

Has anyone ever done that? Where would i start looking for the chutes etc.

The Pallet would probably be a balsa box with as small amount of lead or weight added to make sure it drifts down in the right manner.

One concern would be the dramatic shift in CofG of the plane when the stores are deployed.

Thanks
