Greetings all and a Merry Christmas from Virginia. It's looks like were in for a white Christmas.
Started snowing this afternoon (Fri. 12-18) so far about 4" in four hours and the forecast is for 10"-20" before it stops.

Here is the Mike that bit the dust about a month ago, finally took a look at it last night.
Also the newly aquired Giant Telemaster ordered a 2.4 receiver for it and picked up a ZDZ 80 to put on it.

30" WOW! You live in a higher elevation?

That Telemaster looks sweet. That should do really well, are you having to beef it up at all?

Hi Mike,

As you can see the covering is removed from the top of the fuse. The guy I got it from (a guy in my club, but he is not the builder, or has never flown) it covered it with some funky colors, and I stripped that off to put it back to the original gray.
I looked at adding some 1/64 ply to the fuse sides, but I don't want to add unnessary weight either.
I will need to add some wood to support the drop boxes.
I'll look at it some more, and I want to talk to the guy that built it to see if he would have any suggestions, he only lives about 30 miles from me.
And yes, I will use all steel bolts.

GaryV
