Anyone out there jumping with a Futaba FASST radio? If so, what receiver have you been successful with?

I have converted all of my jumpers to 2.4 using Futaba R-6106 six channel rx's. These are "mid-range receivers" I use my old Futaba 9Z converted to the 2.4 module.

So far, no problems. Also use 2.4 rx on my Telemaster jump plane.

I have also converted my skydivers to Futaba , use 2 different rx's , a R608FS and a R617FS use them for more than a year with no problem .
Also use a to 2.4 converted 9Z transmitter .

All of my fail openings and dirt dives of the last year had the same cause ,messy folding ![:@]


Have one jumper on a Spektrum AR500 rx in combination with a DX7 .
Also with no problem .

My feeling is that the Futaba combination is faster recognized and responding faster.

Thanks for the info Guys,

I am trying to help out new commer get into RC Skydiving and we were looking at the R-6106HFC. Looks like a good match then if Reiner is using it.

I just overhauled Charly this past week with a 2S lipo and a 617 receiver. We had no problems.
