wheel balancing
My Hudy wheel balancer came in the mail yesterday, now I need to use it.I understand how to balance the wheels, but I’m not sure what to balance with, tape, putty, weights, etc. What is the preferred product to use and which one works the best?

RE: wheel balancing
I've seen people use all the methods you mentioned. From non-hardening modelling clay, to lead and aluminum tape. Whatever works for you is the answer I suppose.

Iuse car windshield sealent its a black sticky rubber that sticks to the inside of the rim.
it comes off clean, it is by far the best wheel balancing puddy you can use.
You can get it at any auto parts store.

RE: wheel balancing
I just use modeling clay. It's cheep, works well, removes easily, cost next to nothing. Have used masking tape in the past, works but has a few drawbacks at the end of the day....
