Default need help identifying this buggy asap!

hey yall, been awhile since i've been on here but i have a favor to ask. I have a guy who wants to trade me his 1/8 "OFNA" buggy for my $300 mountain bike. Now i normally know buggies really well but this one really confused me.

It looks like an OFNA as far as the stamped aluminum but it doesn't have the same battery box or anything. He has a Sportwerks Turmoil body on it but it's not a Sportwerks. Tell me what you think

it's got an STS .28 in it, not the greatest but i've had some decent luck with them, plus it comes with a universal bump box.

Hm...difficult one. It's not a hyper 7 or 8 and it's not a Jammin X1 or X2.

I'm gonna go with one of the Ultras, maybe an MBX. In any case, it's not worth $300 even with that engine, which if it runs well, is decent. $300 gets you a brand new Hyper 7.

EDIT: Yeh, I'm sure of it, MBX...

nah, it's a ravager (note the c-hub front suspension), I had one, turned it into a MBX pro comp.

its a tough buggy with some potential, but I wouldn't pay more than $170 for it, its not worth the trade, pass it up.

ok thanks a lot guys, you're saviors!

i looked up the Ravager, that's what it is for sure. I've had my fair share of Losi 8ights and even a Hyper 7 but i just wanted something to go bash around. I'm not a huge OFNA fan as it is and even though my mountain bike is worth about $200 i don't think i want an entry level buggy when i could spend a few hundred and get another 8ight. I might just get a couple Associated 18R's so me and the buddies can **** around the parking lots.

for a basher it can't be beat, but it isn't a 8eight or hyper star.

yeah i don't wanna trade my $500 bike for anything less than an RC8 or Losi 8ight, even an 8ight RTR would be ok but nothing like this OFNA, reminds me of the Duratrax Raze too much, lol.

I agree I would'nt trade for a ravager, but this 9.5 will out last any buggy out there, I had one for 4 years, bashed a bunch, drove it at the track ocassionally, 0 wear, only 3 broken parts (from hitting a iron pipe) that buggy is made very well, but it's only worth $170 because of it's age.

That looks like the original body and there is a Sportwerks logo printed above the front window , could be a Sportwerks Mayhem ....

It's not the original body as the OP himself said in the first place. The car has already been identified. It's an OFNA Ravager.
