Default Ofna Ultra LX ...which cooling block can i use?

I scored this Ofna in a trade, first nitro car and im hooked, love this thing. I was told it is an Ultra LX, but looking online im not sure which variant. The cooling block is cracked, missing fins, and I would like to replace it. With Ofna no longer in business, are there various standard fittings for these cooling blocks? Engine runs fine as far as a novice can tell, i juet would like a fully intact cooler.

id also be curious to know about replacement engines...would most similar sized enyines fit the stock mount?

heres a stock image i found...looks pretty much to be the one

I'm pretty sure Hong Nor was the OEM for the OFNA line of LXs.

A lot of .21 ~.28 engines have the same mounting dimensions. Just check the specs, at the back of the manual, for any engine you are thinking about getting.

Hong Nor does show on the transmitter so makes sense. Guess ill need to get familiar with the mounting dimensions. Found the manual online for the ultra lx so that should help when comparing to new engines.

Still curious about the cooling block fitment though...would love to be able to buy a cheap aftermarket one to see the current engine to its end of life...but again have no idea what might fit.

I have very little nitro engine knowledge. Hopefully another RCU member will show up to give thoughts.

Hi goto Welcome to NitroHouse.com - Radio Control Car Specialist and look for your car parts here. also go to Hong Nor Hobbies International Co., Ltd. and look for the pdf manual for this car when you get it open it up and look for the part you are needing for your car here then see if they have it at nitro house you might have to go to ebay to find it overseas. Thats about all I have for you
Good luck
Michael

Much appreciated. I was able to find the actual part. So it sounds like there is not much (if any at all) cross compatibility between heads?

Turns out there also some very odd sized bearing installed in this particular car where the driveshaft enters the diffs, front and rear, pretty sure this is just a hack from previous owner as there is a ton of play - like a few mm's.....new bearing kit ordered for LX.
