Rebuilding a ~2011 Inferno (VE?) - need a little help
Years ago I bought a electric Inferno to goof around with... a pure basher for sure.
I think it is a VE or is very similar, it has a silver Orion motor with cooling fins and a decent Kyosho Syncro KT-201 radio.
Anyway.. by now its pretty beat up and I'd like to go thru it and replace some basics, but I dont know squat about where to buy things for it nowadays.
Everything I find is crazy money or nonexistent?
For starters, I need:
A cheap generic Lexan body (that is known to fit the VE)
A decent set of shocks, front and rear, that dont cost a small fortune.

Kyosho Inferno Electric 1/8 VE Buggy Body (Clear) - KYOIFB004
If you look at Dollar Hobbyz (they have eBay store as well), I bet the Kyosho MP9 TKI3 RS shocks would be a good candidate. I can't be 100% sure though.
Kyosho 1/8 Inferno MP9e TKI RS * FRONT SHOCKS & SPRINGS * Cap Body Shaft
Kyosho 1/8 Inferno MP9 TKI3 RS * ALUMINUM REAR SHOCKS & SPRINGS * Cap Body Shaft
