RE: Rex P-5 engine
I second that question. As they really do not give you that much info with the motor. By the way I put mine in a 9.5. So far
the motor was 2 tanks threw it. I have't gotten it over 200 yet. I just let the first tank idle then the second no more then 1/4 throttle
off and on. I will put another tank through befor I really use it hard.

The REX is very similar to the RB engines. Please check out the break in directions located in my "Guide to Newbies" thread at the top of the "General RC Car" Forum. It should help you out.

RE: Rex P-5 engine
I just broke in two RB engines using Rody's Team Method for breakin. Great luck with both motors so far. It involves a break-in bench and running the engine full throttle very rich maintaing temps for five tanks. FIrst two at 80 C second two at 90 C, fifth tank at 100 C then two on the buggy just running around. It's quick and painless.
