Well for starter u need the Landmax II suspension arms and suspension, dogbons and rework ur string linkage i think and new body mounts, tires, and body.

I would recommend downloading both the MP7.5 and the landmax manuals and comparing them[8D]

There is a Landmax on ebay new and starting big was 2$ check it out.

search for landmax on ebay.

Thanx for the advice Impalass!
would you happen to know a good set up for the landmax in a rough dirty, gravel surface. Currently I have my front weels a couple of degrees toe out and my back wheels about 2 degrees toe in. For front and back my camber is angled in (top of tire angled towards the car) a couple of degrees, however this set up doesn't seem right on the surface im running on (car has no traction at all) . Also how do you think I should adjust my shocks for this type of surface!

Thankyou!!

try making the back 0 and the front closer to zero but not zero.

the more - camber u put in the front better handling but u loss traction in a straight line and too much - camber isn't good.

i would also recommend losening up ur suspension a little specially on loss dirt and gravel.[8D]

Hi again!
This time I have a question about installing an OS .21 RGX (P). Does anybody know if I have to buy a new fly wheel, clutch etc. or will the ones from the GS-21R fit alright? Also do I have to get a special engine, if so which ones?

ps: also looking into getting some new tires, do any of the proline tires fit on the landmax trims?

Thankyou!!

by the way those are kanai buggy shocks. The engine is an RB concepts S5 which has an OFNA 063 pipe attached. I also changed the front shock tower to a Kyosho buggy one for extra height for the shocks. I am still having a little trouble tunning the new engine, but once i get this thing going it's going to fly!!

Take a look at the Kyosho Inferno GT. Its a 1/8th buggy based car like the landmax, but has a bigger engine. It also takes buggy wheels, so you have a more diverse tire choice.

His request actually comes from another thread going on simultaneously. It is in regards to the stadium truck body offered for the Landmax. If you have any sources where that body could be found it would be greatly appreciated.

I would be happy with the Stadium Truck body or any of the "WRC" type bodies... I am keeping an eye on e-bay.

the landmax 2 is based on the kyosho mp 7.5, therefore you can use parts from the mp 7.5 for the landmax 2. The landmax 1 is pretty old now, and although i dont know too much about it, im pretty sure it would be hard to find spare parts for it these days if it breaks (although once in a while u find parts on ebay). The landmax 2 has better shocks than the landmax and also a better engine. Because the landmax 2 is based on the mp 7.5 buggy it is very strong, and for a rally type rc car this is the most important thing. So i would suggest u get a landmax 2

whats the top speed with the stock setup? also, I've owned the MP7.5 with OS VZB-P .21 engine and also am driving the thunder tiger EK-4 monster truck with a .70 engine. Hv previously also owned a kyosho V-one RR. Wl i enjoy this car for the versatility and speed?

hey man, the landmax 2 stock setup with the kyosho motor is pretty quick. However i doubt it would be quicker than your mp 7.5 with the os vzb. the landmax 2 is basically a mp 7.5 buggy but with smaller arms and smaller shocks so it really wont be any differnet compared to your mp7.5 in terms of versatility.

Hey all. I figured I would show my Landmax 2 off. It is upgraded with the 2-speed and an Orion Wasp .28. I have the unbelievably hard to come by Lancia Stratos body and wheels which I bought off of Tower right before they were no longer offered.
