Default NEED MASSIVE AIR!!!

I was just wondering if anyone had any mesurments, designs or blueprints to make a wooden jump for 1/8 buggy or monster truck.
I want a lot of hight as well as distance, the type of ramp on the xxxmain videos were the buggys jump the house and truck-trailer.
Any help would be appreciated.

what you want is a 2.5 meter long jump at a 45 degree angle with a slight bend in the middle.. use marine ply and make sure you champfer the on ramp edge .. at 60 mph you should clear a garage. The bend will help give more height..

thanx i made up a medium size ramp last night its about 900mmlong x 600mmhigh the ramp slowly curves to about a 50-55 degree angle at the end, my slock mini-t launches about 2 meters long off of it so im hoping that my truckzilla will clear the house.[:-]

LMAO !! thats unreal .. a man with a mission ! good luck bro !!

PS make sure you dont aim near any windows. check the clearance in a car park first, see what you can do with it before you line up the house..

I tried to shoot a target once when i was a kid with a rocket, went straight over and through the window of a factory behind in the next street.. i got into so much strife over that .. lol

While not having dimensions for you I will add one thing 45 degrees should be a base line for your jump. 45 degrees is the optimal angle for both distance and height. Anything lower or higher you are losing both. I have taken a few jumps with my buggies that get massive house jumping air and I will say your priactice runs should have the landing on grass if at all possible. Also you need to make sure you do no underestimate the actual distance your RC can fly. Off a great jump at WOT height of 30-40 feet and equal distance is very possible. You also want to make sure you have enough room to reach max speed on the approach as well as finding the smoothest possible route.

you are going to attempt jumping your house with a truckzilla that is dangerous that has no areodynamics at all it will drop like a bag of bricks.

i will test it bofore i jump a house, im not that stupid (it will not be my own house either)lol. thats why i made the ramp end with a small 50-55degree end, the truckzilla @ about 8kg will have alot of forward momentum so it really just needs to be thrown as high as it possibly will go.
