are right guys, i have had the duratrax axis, for three years now, close to 15 gallons of fuel threw that .21 torq.....im cunfused why does the axis have such a bad rep here. its been outstanding performer to me, ive crashed a couple of times, replacement parts were cheap and easy to get.....the axis is all around user freindly. and dayum its fast, i dont care what anyone says......tell me why it has such a bad rap. or does it get such a bad rap from ignorant people. Ignorance isnt bad, ignorant just means a person just does not know, something about that specific topic. are the people giving a bad rap, ever really owning one, and testing and tuning it to there needs, or are they trying it out of the box, on the factory settings, and just complaining then?

I think the say is Ignorance is bliss. But the reason the axis gets a bad rap is that is really cannot take the thrashing a good race can dish out. Personally I think if they could get a world level driver onboard and start beating the other manufacturers (as long as they come third to X-Ray and Ho Bao) then you'll see the opinions swayed. But atm they are just too heavy and unresponsive to be competetive.
