JAMMIN PRO AND THE MUGEN MBX 5,NOT PRO SPEC.
If by JAMMIN PRO you mean the X1CR kit "Not RTR", then I would personally take that over the non pro-spec MBX5.

I agree with RJP, if its the X1CR kit, that would be my choice....although i run 2 Kyosho's, that Jammin sure looks sweet!

the os .21 rg is a great all around sport engine. I run one in my storm RTR and it hauls with 20% byron but I would suggest going with 30% sidewinder fuel

I have beenr acing 1/8 scale buggies for a while and i think that the best bang for your buck as far as competition level buggies go, the GS racing storm PRO is the best choice. It outperformes my mbx4rr, my mbx-5, and all my buddies various ofna and kyosho buggies. Its got tons of billet aluminum, real carbon fiber, and durability is great. The suspension is also on par with mugen buggies. And as far as an engine, im an OS guy but the RG is only good for toying around, it will get slaughtered by any competition level .21 i know of. I run an OS RZV-01B engine that has been slightly modified and i know of no competition engine made that can noticably outrun it.

I am not to sure about the buggies but I support the RG 110% Best bang for the buck hands down. I have seen that motor chase down RBs and Nova Rossi's. With the right gearing, pipe, clutch, and plug you can get about 7 min race speeds on a take of gas.

I don't know that much about buggies but I do see that it appears none of these people has a Jammin. You might want to get a recomendation from someone that actually has one..

I have been flying for years but when I saw the 1/8 buggies run I had to have one. I started with the Ofna rtr Ultra LX Comp 2 months ago and it was great. I also had the same trouble finding out which was the best for upgrade, I went with the Jamin X1 cr with an OS VZ B-spec .21. I made the correct choice !!!!!!!! You will love the Jamin, quality through and through. The .21 is also GREAT and there are now 5 Jamins that race at the three tracks in our area.
