Fuel for Racin'
Wutup guys, I just wanted to hear what kind of fuel ya'll use for racing. Also, if you could, leave a post as to what engine you use that fuel on.

Eliminator on my OS .18 . Trinity isn't worth the price... all you are doing is paying brian kinwald and adam drake. Eliminator is also the same fuel that will be going thru the RB i m soon to buy.

O'Donnell 30%... I never ran it myself but I never heard anything bad about it. I have only known people who used it in a mach .26 (LST) and a sportwerks .26 (mayhem) and the owners are very pleased with its power. Someone who comes into the hobby shop around here a lot has called quite a few different engine manufactures and asked what 30% fuel they would recommend running... all said O'Donnell 30%.

Byron's fuel is probly the first I would sujest. He didn't have it on the poll so I assumed he doesn't have it in reach. Pros have been using Byron's for years... they have low oil content so that means more fuel and more power.

Gotta go with what is availiable locally, that would be O'Donnell 30%.
I've tried Trinity,Byrons, and White Lightning...all with happy results, but supplies are sketchy so O'Donnell is what most of the locals use.
As for engines...take your pick...O'Donnell works well in all of them.

I run Byrons 30% race blend. I have tried O'Donnel, but it wasn't quite as powerful. That and it produced the most horrible toxic odor (its hard to adjust your carb without it taking your breath away) and discolored my fuel lines within a couple tank fulls. Byrons did not produce either of these side effects.

im gonna agree with kx250rydr ive ran byrons.sidewinder.trinity.and just got done trying odonnell only cause my LHS was out of sidewinder. odonnell is good conservitve fuel but lacks a little power and i really didnt like how it turned my lines brown and didnt like all the brown goo that spilled out of my pipe. i know the brown goo is a protective lube for the mill but man its really messy stuff and it does stink. sidewinder in my opinion is the best. byrons is a close second.

RE: Fuel for Racin'
I have dyno tested many brands of fuel and the most power comes from Trinity Platinum blend 30%, Then Byrons race 3000, Then O'Donnels 30%. The O'Donnels stinks terribly though! However, the results are right in line with oil content. Trinity platinum blend 30% has 8-9% oil, Byrons race 3000 has 11%, and I think O'Donnels 30% is around 15% oil.
Just for what it's worth.

That's what I use. Didn't realise it was anything special, it seems to be just about the only fuel I can get here, but the owner of the shop races extensively, so I knew it wouldn't be ****e, anywho, glad you think it's good. Hyper 21's seem to like it, yeh?

RE: Fuel for Racin'
triniy fuel is made by wildcat who use the highest quality ingredients available to make their fuel (better than the majority of manufacturers) so i use trinity platinum but to be fair i have to say my minster truck doesnt like it but my RB and novarossi love it.
