RE: OFFICIAL KYOSHO MP777-SP1/SP2 THREAD
Pro.. Should'nt you be in the ST-RR thread....lol just kiding.
Question; I'm building an SP2 out of spare parts and seem to have lost one of the diffs.... I do have an extra LSD diff, is this thing junk or should I give it a try? Also I only have regular diff oils and not the special LSD oil.... can I use any of those or is the LSD oil the only thing that can be used in the LSD diff? If I do try it I know it should go in the front diff but what would happen if I installed it in the rear? Just curious.
Have a feeling I know these answers but thought it might be worth asking.
Thanks!!

RE: OFFICIAL KYOSHO MP777-SP1/SP2 THREAD
Hi guys, I plan on reading through this thread soon and will probably find the answers I'm after but anyway. I currently have the opportunity to buy a MP777 Sp1 for a good price. My question is, are they are a good entry level buggy for racing?
I am keen to stay away from a cheap knock off brand, and although this is a used buggy, I prefer the idea of a decent brand. I know absolutley nothing about them, so could anybody give some brief details about the pros and cons, and wether they are still worth while for use in racing?

The 777 kyosho buggies are great ... they handle well and are very tough

Are these the only parts needed to convert from the tcd to the regular diff? Do I need a shim kit as well?

RE: OFFICIAL KYOSHO MP777-SP1/SP2 THREAD
Yes, I might need help in the following days. I recently bought a SP2 GP chassis excluding the engine. I converted it to EP. I'm using Xerun 2000kv motor and 150A ESC combo. I used Kyosho's battery tray and servo box from MP9 / VE and HobbyPro's motor mount. Chassis has blue tubular braces front and rear and Racer's Edge's shock towers front and rear. The guy gave me 3 bodies in total but I can't use any of them since the batteries prevent the bodies from sitting completely. So I had to buy a new Inferno VE body which is higher at sides.

RE: OFFICIAL KYOSHO MP777-SP1/SP2 THREAD
i got offered a deal i couldnt refuse.. a rx ready 7.5 plus another roller plus 3 abgs of parts with enough parts to make the other roller fully ready and make 2 more chassis full rollers.. issue #1 the picco g1 that was on it needed some clutch work so i decided to throw on my os .30 vg till i messed with the pico more.. the mounts i have look like the after market blue adonizded ones on amainhobbies but to get the clutch bell to hit the spur the motor has to almost be pushed so far over the mount/engine seem to hit the axle going to the rear diff.. is this engine to big for this buggy or is my bell to small? i just cant seem to get the engine far enough to the right to fit properly

im using the stock mounts also and having no luck i can only assume its either a motor issue or a clutch bell issue
