On my STS D21B and my OS V Spec I tried 3 pipes. A JP-1, STS 0403 for the 21 size engines and the stock 2059 that came with my Hyper 8. I like the stock Hyper 8 pipe best so far. Now I am considering trying either the JP-3 or the JP-4. If I can find a used OS 2050 I would like to try it.

I would not trade my 8 or 8.5 for a Jammin. But what do you expect asking a question like this in the Hyper forum? LOL

Looks very good! That motor should haul! And the carb can't be moved to fast as long as it isn't binding or tight. It is rare that a carb is not quite right. From my experience it is the Picco carbs, that NR carb will be perfect; they always are.

Hey bro just stop the end point on the servo for the throttle and you will be fine, mine was the same I put in a Hitec 625 and it would pull on the motor tell I adjusted the end point on the radio for that servo and now it is good to go. Looks great now you must get it dirty yea!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!![sm=stupid.gif]

I have yet to break it but I do have lots of bearings, extra arms, turnbuckles, shock accessories and parts. It's a solid bug.

It's probably 'worth it' to get the second car as a spare parts doner. Cheaper in the long run, I'd think.

That's what I have done, you can't beat it for the price. Try buying all the parts seperately versus buying the kit and you lose out. So, I bought a second kit and I'm glad I did.

Well, if you are patient, you can get most of the key bits on Ebay for super cheap. At least, you could in the past. There seems to be less Hyper 8.5 Pro Kit Chop Shop operations running now a days...

I've gotten some excellent deals in the past (50~80% of retail prices).

Yes there is a place on ebay called RC mall or something like that or just type in Ofna hyper 8.5 and you will find the chop shops on there and you can get screaming deals on stuff, I mean like the whole front arms upper and lower and the hubs all of it for 15 bucks

yea but i added all the spare i could need , and it was really close to a full kit , but if i buy a second kit i wouldnt to part it out , just put and engine and radio in it and set it up differently to have 2 car runing and for different tracks
what you think ?
oh well 2 car and some spare parts would be good too

That's what I have one 8 and a new 8.5 and I pick up parts here and there when I see them on sale or have the extra funds to stock up you will always need them sooner or later.
