Default Mayhem/CRADDOCK question

I have new craddock fiberglass brake rotors but they dont fit snug enough to my center diff, they keep binding the front half of my car, has anyone else dealt with this?

basically the outdrives from the center diff dont hold the rotors tight enough to keep them from rubbing on the bottom of the rotor slot

anyway, I need some ideas, Im at that "stuck staring at a part for 30 minutes" stage...[>:]

Just take the rotor slots out.

The Craddock brakes are awesome, and 'cheap'.

alright, I removed the rotors and everything spins okay but I have bare metal pads (I was instructed the craddocks use this) and Im having a tough time getting the linkage right

did you also remove the stock metal shims that slide on the screw that holds the pads on?

did you have to significantly adjust your brake throttle linkage?

I can either get no brakes, or full brakes after starting engine []

Yes you are supposed to run bare metal pads adn you will need to tighten the two screws holding them together. That's pretty much all you need to do.
Adjust linkage to the grip level you need adn use fuel line as 'springs' to adjust how the brakes engage. how you got the last part.

I got it set up today and raced at the track, let me tell you, they freaking GRAB

I actually had poor brakes before and now they are instant, its a great attribute to have! Even though I busted an A arm tonight Im happy with what I had, I would have never thought of removing the rotor slots, thanks yall
