In terms of handling, does it really make a difference compared to other buggies like XB8, 777 wc, or H8? is it very easy to maintain, clean, to replace parts etc?

Ditto !!

Hope you guys find some other forum to voice your opinions ,this one is for TM M1 buggy.
Looking at the pics from Ihobby there hasbeen some refinements / updates ,so know its left to get onto the tracks and feed back from racers.
Unfortunately this is a THREAD on the FORUM, if you wish to pick holes, think deeper about your reply.

Like I said the TM looks like a brittle Tamiya.

Raze, what about the one that you have shown us in the picture, isn't it running yet? haven't you tried that on the track yet? what type of plastic material are they using for the M1?

The Eight has been getting good results in the States but why havent they got any running at the worlds ???
If they had a few at the worlds with the drivers they have ,they should have been able to prove how good the buggy is against the best in the world.
Or did they see too much competition.
Many U.S. drivers didn't go to the Worlds for saftey concerns (Jared Tebo being another). It has nothing to do with being afraid to enter the buggy at an international level, as it does with the fact that it is considered dangerous to be a U.S. citizen abroad in the Middle East right now. The 8ights are going to be at the Novarossi race in the U.K this weekend instead.
I think an American has more chance of geting out of the Middle east OK than he does geting out The Bronx in one piece. So maybe if your tiny minded puppet president hadn't p155ed the world off then this excuse would not have been used for the buggies no show at the worlds. Fact is they are not confident it's Tamiyaesque design can stand up to race conditions on the public stage.
Grahama89; what did you expect us to do following September 11th? Just stand around and act like it never happened? clearly some action needed to take place. Weather you like it or not the USA is playing world police, because we have to, I would like to see your country stop terror attacks with fancy words and complements. clearly some sort of action needed to take place to help prevent further incidents. If you don’t like what our country is doing i suggest that you guys act on it rather than sit around talking about what should be done. I don’t mean to start a fight however when someone criticizes my country I always ask myself what their country (the UK in your case) is doing to help the greater good of the world. I can assure you that we would greatly appreciate any help in the war on terror from our friends across the pond.
Well if you are the world police force, why don't you go after North Korea ?

Ooops, I forgot, no oil there.

Sorry

I hope your joking... If you loom at any companies website they show the MSRP. IF you look at the Msrp on a hyper * its like $1000. Same thing for basically every single rc car ever made.

OK finally we should have some feedback / reports about the performance reliability of the M1-B.
The M1-B makes its race debut in the UK at the NeoInvitational race.
Race is on the 15th through to the 17th ,check out the race coverage on Neobuggy.net
If Neobuggy's coverage of the worlds is anything to go by ,it is going to be awesome with the live coverage.

First impression are positive so far.
http://www.cmldistribution.co.uk/new...iew=0000000399

2nd driver is Fin ,Jari Eklund.
So far it looks like 2 M1-B Buggies running.

Cant wait for teh weekend

This buggy is really awesome. I have been following the design as they became available. The prototype looked awesome. I've heard that this buggy is the same as all the other designs. I disagree. This buggy was designed with improvements in every area.
TM also do not believe in letting a top driver promote their product. I mean you can give any buggy to a champ and he will win.
The build qaulity of this buggy is just awesome.
I would definitely get myself one. This buggy is the next generation of off-road racing.
