the Motor is a CMB 21RS Pro .. probably the quickest 21 out there at the monemt, and yes they are rare im a dealer and i can only get 10 per month.. I have one and its divine ! nothing comes close to it !

I've never heard of HoBao before.. are they Ofna under a different name? I ask because Ofna is releasing their Hyper 8 soon which looks exactly the same....

OFNA doesn't manufacture anything, they put their name on the HoBao and HongNor buggies.

hobao is the jap maker of the hyper 7 bugs, ofna is the us distributor of these bugs

OK, so here it is. Ho Bao, and Hong Nor are both completely separate companies that manufacture r/c cars in Taiwan. OFNA, is a company who makes no r/c kits of their own, but instead imports them from the above mentioned companies, and re-packages them with OFNA logos. That is all. Here is which factories make what OFNA gear:

Hong Nor:
Jammin
9.5/Violator/Ravager
Ultra
Force engines

Ho Bao:
Hyper 7
Hyper 8
Hyper engines

yeh, I thought something like that would be the case. My first instinct was HoBao just ripped off Ofna's car AND name! But the similarities were just too close to be legit. Still, a great looking beast and one of the top 3 contenders for my purchase next year.

wow... i dont see anything too special.

aluminum radio tray lid?! I thought the point was to make this thing lighter?

DOGBONES in the center.... sure it costs more to make Universals or CVD's but this is just silly....

i bet alot of people will have trouble with breaking seals on the gas tank lid - just like the revo.

Sorry for my complaints but this buggy is going to have to live up to ALOT of hype and i really dont think it will..
