any one kno where i can find a good 1/8th scale electic engine for a good price?

A good electric motor for a 1/8 buggy? There's only one company that make reasonably priced brushless motors that will work for this application. The Co. is Fiegao. They make several that will work. The 540C 9L is a popular choice. It's about $85.00.

You could also look into the Plettenburg (spelling?) motors. These are really nice motors, but you'll pay for it.

Of course. A Plettinburg Max, will cost near $300. If you can spend that, I'd get the Lehner 1940-9.
