RE: What Buggy is this?
Swift, rdlogics sho, and power racing swift are one and the same. rdlogics spec some changes, as do shumacher who also sell swift.
If your buggy has silver alloy and is assembled, it is not a pro. Swift pro has a copper colored alloy. A swift is not a modified smartech commando either. A swift is a swift. It is stronger and cheaper than most buggies out there. It will take infinity .27 with ease.

RE: What Buggy is this?
PS. swift is made by Nanda. You will also want to get rid of the carbon fibre suspension support as it can break on impact. The latest carbon fibre supports dont have holes. Also the tie arms for the bottom wisbones can break on impact. You might want to get some pro alloy ones, or make some. Also if you have early Swift, and it is highly likely, you will find "e" clips on the shock shaft holding on the piston. youll want to get rid of those too. Current swift has nuts on the shock shafts. Shock shafts are available on their own. I am not sure if RDlogics sells them on thier own, but I do. All in all the swift is one heavilly specd RTR

lol my sig represents all the RC's I have.. I don't think I or anyone would confuse the buggy for a Smartech Commando..
It's scary that you thought I did..
there is another thread where a few of us who bought the buggies dicussed Nanda as well as other
minor things but all in all for $74.99 it's an awesome deal.

RE: What Buggy is this?
my bad, didnt spend enough time reading. Swift are excellent. I sell them in NZ, as well as Nanda Raptor. I even use a swift and I am a monster truck fan, but the swift is so driveable. Doesnt keep me on the edge of my seat untill its at speed then I start power sliding it around. I use it in a gravel trucking yard. The gravel doesnt seem to bother it. I am a "drive it like you stole it" type. I have two customers that have opted with Team Infinity .27 40 000rpm motor in thier swifts and they are totally insane. Bit slow with the sh21, but I am still running rich, so it should get better when I start to lean it out a bit.
My comments about the suspension ties and carbon fibre, are not bad comments unless you slam into stuff at speed like we do. carbon fibre is stiffer than alloy but it is more brittle.
Cheers
Sorry for mistake about smartech.

Here is a good look at swift pro: http://www.swiftbuggy.com/probuild/start.shtml
Not a huge difference. Pro is a bit beefier where needed. Swift is beefier than most any way

RE: What Buggy is this?
I'm still looking for a .28 in my buggy. I was looking at the Team Infinity Samurai 528 5 port.
looks like it would be a very good engine for the price.. i'm just researching into it's faults currently.

RE: What Buggy is this?
Sounds like it will be a sweet setup. I don't really care much for racing so I'm thinking a .27 or .28 sized engine. STS or AXIAL most likely for servos I'm not sure yet.

RE: What Buggy is this?
Hi
I also just won one of those buggies off of ebay, and this is what I plan on using in it.
[ul][*] Receiver: JR RS300[*] Steering servo: Airtronics 94359[*] Throttle servo: Hitec HS-925MG[*] Engine: Ofna Picco .26[*] Battery: Venom 1200 6v hump pack
[/ul]
What I would like to know is dose it come with a body or do I need to order one.

RE: What Buggy is this?
Some people were lucky in the beginning and they got bodies. I spoke to Suprasales to inquire about my body and they said they no longer get the buggies with the bodies from their supplier.

RE: What Buggy is this?
Hi
I have another question does it come with the front sway bar, I cant really tell from the pictures. I can see the rear sway bar in the picture but not the front one. Is there any thing else that you would recommend that I get for this buggy?

Hi
That is just fine with me.
I am about to place an order to H.H. for the body and front sway bar. Can you think of any thing else that I should add to my list.

RE: What Buggy is this?
I was browsing HH website and they have quite a few hopups for the chassis... I'm just wondering how much lighter I can make the buggy if I get all the "Lightened" parts.. and how that will affect the durability?

RE: What Buggy is this?
I actually have the Nada Racing branded version of the Swift II. Does anyone happen to know of any places in Australia where I can get parts for this thing?? Especially alloy parts since those front suspension arms (or whatever they are called) along with the shock shaft ends break every time you drive the bugger near something hard :P

Hi
Well it came in today, and it is bigger then I thought it was going to be. Four the past four hours I have been tearing this thing down and going over it from top to bottom making sure that every thing is tight and working good.
