Default Harder buggy race tires

I'm looking for race tires but I can't afford to be replacing tires every weekend.
I'm willing to give up some traction as a result.

Any suggestions?

Seems like you've answered your own question. Go to a harder compound tire.

Some tires only come in soft compound from manufacturers like Proline. Instead search eBay for suprasales or sups sales (I forget which). They have knockoffs of Proline and others tread patterns but in harder compound rubber.

The OP is looking for race tires. I've never seen a race tire that didn't come in various compounds. Tires (especially those from places like Suprasales) are hard Basher tires.
