quite the powerful engines to be bolting into your ofna and revo.

The ofna should be able to take it, but I think it'll be stupid power inside a revo.

www.topspeedtoys.com plans to stock them. Its where I got my STS D21T

Let me know what you think.

the .28 should be enough for you. Savy guys complain about not being able to keep all 4 planted on the ground

As far as the .30 goes... yeah I haven't seen it ran yet because it aint out yet.

The D28M totally rules!!!!
Even when breaking it in, I would pull wheelies at only half trigger! Excellent accleration, good top end, and excellent for pusing heavy trucks like the Savage! In a buggy, it will totally make any buggy rip!

Note: The D28M tends to leak air. As soon as you get it, take off the carb, the back plate, and the piston sleeve and clean it as best you can to remove any machining shards. Then, replace the sleeve and head, and RTV the backplate and the carb body post. Also, chose your fuel wisely, the D28M is really finiky. I recommend Blue Thunder and I recommend you stay away from Rocket Science. Any fuel that is stubborn on startup and warmup as Rocket Science will give your D28m running problems.

They are great motors for the money. Search the net for STS .28 and you will find a lot of people in love with their motor. Their .21's are pretty good to, but the .28 shines.

I dont know about the .28 or .30 but i have not been overly impressed with the .21b
its done a gallon and a bit and the bearing's have both worn. the piston somehow allows gas bypass and its only fit for the bin or a full rebuild including crank, bearings, piston liner, and a new rod.
In my humble opinion pay extra and buy quality.

I guess what i need to know for is what heat range you guys run, Hot cold meduims....... The book says run hot plugs for breakin since its really rich, but I run hot plugs in everything..... I just wanna make sure it'd be fine in this engine....... Also im gonna be running 20 percent with castor oil added.... so i should be good there...

Any help is appreciated, I cant wait to mount this sucker up and run a bunch of fuel through it..... I need it for a race this sunday......

Take time on the break in and make sure you follow their break in method as best as you can. They typically wake up after the second gallon.
