NO... thats way too much. You can get the Ravager which is a 9.5 c-hub buggy for just over 300 at most any online retailer.

i have the 9.5 mbx. i like it but for the ofna force engine it comes rtr with parts are way to expensive... i had to get a new piston and sleeve but wound up getting a whole new engine because its $100 for a whole new piston and sleeve, and i got the new engine for $125.00.

I like the 9.5 mbx best out of all the 9.5's however, it has been discontinued. That doesn't mean you can't still get parts through www.nitrohouse.com though.

for what its worth, i picked up my ravager for 399 Canadian at my local hobby shop. so 395 seems steep for a MBX.

It all depends, if its stock then its too much. Good racing motors are 250 and above, what does it have in it?

Your still spending 400 bucks on a VERY dated buggy.

Those of you with a Ravager, how are the steering knuckles holding up? Just out of curiosity.
