Nice, I like those rims. Ive always been a fan of black rims.... I hope this thread does last. I was thinking of turning my Hyper 7 into a truggy, thats one reason I bought one, I never heard much about people making a hyper truggy, then i saw an ad for the Hyper ST. This should make the conversion a little bit easyer. Does anybody know if the shocktowers from other truggies, like the jammin', will fit on the hyper 7, because the ones on the Hyper ST are plastic, and I was looking for something stronger.

i dont think so you do know that there IS a conversion kit to turn a Hyper7 buggy into truggy and it comes with the Metal shocktowers.

I would suggest 30 to 40wt. max for off-road. Only go 50wt. or above if you're only going to be running it on-road.

i also have a hyper 7. dunno what engine to put in it yet, i was thinking of an sts .21 maybe. i've only driven it once with a borrowed force .27 engine. pretty fast, and i love the way it handles. completley different from my Monster GT and HPI MT 2.

ARe you planning on racing? , if so the OS VZ-B Vspec is an excellent choice, sure u gotta change the bearings and rod, but this engine absolutely screams, im going to drop one into my Hyper soon, when i get the funds

Well, if i lean the engine too far, it will just conk out when your on a straight but the engine is certainly not overheating and theres nothing up with the glowplug.

O.S. Rg .21 or Hyper 8 port. Swap them out depending on my needs.
