they are ok i bought my son last summer but he kelp breaking the plastice hub carriers in the front but the engine ran very good,to break the motor in let it ideal i tank and then let it cool for a second and then i would ideal like two more and then start driving it around leaning it in a liltte at a time to you get about 8-10 tanks and then fine tune it but it should come with breakin instructions.

If you buy one, plan on replacing the clutch bell and spring before you use it. The stock bell and spring are junk. The bells are out of round and the spring is weak. You can use an HPI vented 17t clutch bell and the Traxxas T-Maxx spring. I dont have the part numbers from Tower Hobbies but they have threads on this problem in the Redcat forum. Otherwise, its not a bad buggy for the price. Good luck.

I think they are the same as the Bazookas you buy on fleabay, they have a few online venders that sell parts for them.

I bought that buggy for my first nitro buggy. To be honest with you I had nothing but problems with it ! [:@] I didnt even have it a week before I sold it on ebay and bought me a OFNA H7. IMO it is poorly built and is fragile as a carton of eggs.

Hopefully you will have better luck with yours than I did mine.......

I agree with Firefighter7. I had that for my first buggy too and it's a pile. It could just be the luck of the draw, but I highly doubt it. I got a GS Storm Evo, and very impressed. The Redcats are best suited for parking lot duty.

yes i think they're called a bazooka here as well, a guy runs one at our local track and i can say one thing for sure, they are TOUGH, i've seen this buggy in all sorts of nasty spills and it just keeps taking all the abuse you can throw at it, he's on his second motor, the other just lost its compression after about 20litres of fuel, and he's replaced the front c-hubs with 7075 alloy and replaced both front upper arms with the same, the originals didn't break, but the threads were getting a bit sloppy, damn good basher but i wouldn't like to race it, a real handful to drive...
