RE: does it fit?
It will most likely fit...the mounts on a .21 engine usually are the same size as .21-.32.....the mounts should adjust to the motor any ways....just take the motor mounts and bolt them to the motor then bolt the motor to the car. Make sure your gear mesh is good thou....I had a Ultra lx-pro b4 and i had a picco .26 in mine...its started to really eat some gears...i figured it was the power of the motor..but in fact it was my diffs wernt shimmed tight enuff....but your picco should drop right in...[8D]

RE: does it fit?
I know the OS RG 21 is discontinued but it use to come with both a pilot or threaded shaft among some other engines and this is why I ask.

Do all big blocks come with pilot shafts now if not you want one with a pilot shaft.

RE: does it fit?
Please look at this listing and it says [1/4-28 pilot (SG) crankshaft] so I have to wonder if SG and pilot are the same? Correct me if I am wrong!

All so I thought on OS engines the (P) stood for pilot shaft!

RE: does it fit?
From everything I see pilot and SG are the same. Here is another example.

RE: does it fit?
The pilot shaft always means the thread ends with the shaft. SG = Standard Guage, refering to the plain section forward of the threaded sectiion.

RE: does it fit?
I thought the thread shaft was the one that ended at the end of the threads first link. In the second link I posted says SG (Pilot)?
First link thread shaft correct me if I am wrong but in this link I see nothing talking about pilot!

Second links sees to me that SG and (pilot) are the same

100% correct 46u they are the same. I called OS (or hobby services, whatever) a long time ago and asked them. of course, they talked to me as though I was Forrst gump but they did confirm they are the same

RE: does it fit?
I looked at about 50 engines yesterday and talked to many that have been in the hobby for longer then I (I have only been in the hobby for about 10 years) and the only conclusion I could come to is they are the same. [X(]

RE: does it fit?
A pilot and a SG crankshaft are the same exact thing. A pilot crank is just a nickname for a SG crank. Read the first sentence about this Werks engine: http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXNKP7
