Default Once and for all, PBS or C-hub?

i have had c-hub and pbs. always broke knuckles with c-hub, maybe cheep ravager ones. have had pbs on 2 vehicles for 6 months with no problems but i hear others tell me to get rid of it for c-hub for a tighter turn radius. i can turn way tight, about a 3ft circle. is c-hub really better and i just need better knuckles? the ravager ones literally broke after 1 lap. What do you think?

i like the pbs better you might have to do a little modding to get it to turn like a c hub but it really isnt that much of a difference and i thing the pbs is better thru rough stuff and it tuffer but like dawman said its a persanol choice.

If you have CNC knuckles then they shouldn't be breaking much if at all.
It is true the cast ones break a lot but just upgrade. (most pro buggies have CNC as standard)
And I voted C-hub.

C-hub will free up the suspension and it will work better...[8D]!

I do prefer PBS over C-Hub and so muchso that one of my XB8s is now a PBS, the trick though to making a PBS turn faster is not to mod the knuckles, but to stiffen up the lube in the rear diff, locking it up a little more and making it drive a little more like a 2WD, thenif you just tap the gas in the turn it will flick the booty round and allow you to release the front end and hit the gas harder and earlier than your puny Chub compardrays, thus leaving them in a cloud of dust unable to be seen by their monkeys on the wheel. Haha.

More C-hubs fail to finish the race than PBS.

Not in my experience . Guess you don`t know how to check the screws when cleaning your buggies . Besides it`s all personal preference and there is no right or wrong answer , just opinions from personal experiences .

Are you that cocky you have to pat yourself on the back ? Usually people that call themselves wise are just the opposite .
STHU Dawman, I was finishing my statement and if you'd noticed, I haven't taken sides. I know there are strengths and weaknesses with both types, and I don't really care which way this thread re-run goes.

Boy ! You sure can dish it out , but can`t take it . If you don`t care so much why do you keep posting in this thread ? Usually if someone doesn`t care about something they leave it alone . Right back at ya so you STHU

Once more you force the thread to degenerate. I now vote for King pin as being the best suspension setup.

Oooo how your cyberthreats scare me.

Excuse me , you started the threats as you started degenerating this thread , as usual . Lets see you started with "STHU Dawman" . And you make all kinds of stupid comments to people and yet when someone gives you a taste of your medicine you get all bent out of shape .
