cbyrne - good to see you are happy with the buggy.
ginnz - i stil am undecided about the front as of today but i am awaiting my PCR parts to come in. once i take the buggy apart and start to rebuild i will make the decision. will post pics of whichever i choose.

Yep. Now i kinda wanna get out of rc. I keep breaking parts endlessly and the battery disconnected from te reciever, sending it full throttle into a tree, bounced off, plowed through a wire fence and hit a rock, came back te other way and gave me a nice bloody bruise on my leg. So its in my basement waiting. Lol.

Well, you learned one valuable lesson. Aways run a throttle return spring.

Anyone still running this buggy? I have one and was wondering what upgrades other people have used and their results. I have a JP3 pipe, new servos and radio. Probably going to add LX2 shocks and 2 speed in the near future.

I'm Back! (anybody still here haha).

I think it's time to get this thing back on the road-
Need a motor, clutch and possibly a pipe. Suggestions? (low price is key here)

I have been away so long I they have released a LX2! How many parts are interchangeable between the two?

Just thought I'd bring up a good old thread. I bought a small "lot" of rcs from a guy. A lx one was in the lot. Didn't know what it was until searching.
I've never had....let alone picked up a 1/8 scale....omg.....this thing is HEAVY! Wow!
Only ran it once so far with only about five minutes of run time....got a new glow plug comming. ....kept stalling.

Anyhow....probably end up selling it. So if anyone needs an extra one.....

How about posting a picture to show it's condition and tell us your asking price.

Well...I don't think I can post it here? I assume it would be in a classifieds?
As for price.....I don't have a clue. I pick up a handful of rc's every winter and sell them on ebay. Always list them $.99 no reserve.
Also...I always try to test them out so I can describe them as well as I can. (I have 350+ 100% positive feedback)
....never try to hide anything about them.

Anyhow....I should be getting new glow plug tomorrow so I can test it out a little better.
Who knows. ..I may love it ...but doubt it....I'm an electric guy ... (bad back. ...and literary kills me to bend over on those nitros)

I been watching a couple on ebay....and they have been going pretty cheap imho.
So cheap that I may just keep it???
