Bought a used ofna 9.5 recognize engine?
I bought a used ofna 9.5 pro, got a pretty good deal on it, it runs perfect already ran it, but I am curious does anyone recognize this engine. The old owner told me it was a Novarossi, if so i would like to know the specs.

Hahah I been all over that website, I am trying to find the specs or the model number. This is an older engine I think, so I dont know if it is on that site.

Also got this motor for free in the deal, which one should I keep, then one on it or this one which is new. I think it is a o.s. .21rg. Help me out, I am new to this money pit. Still cheaper than my EVO lol

Looks like the engine that comes in the Liso 8 RTR, which is a 427. Are you going to race or just bash as the 427 is not race legal but the OS RG is. Personally I rather have the OS RG if it is in good shape.

that is not a Novarossi.....nor is it a Mach 427..
that is a Rossi Black Magic........ one very fine engine.... FYI Rossi is a different brand then Novarossi.....

The RG is brand new I got the 9.5pro perfect running condition w/graphite upgrades along with starterbox and the O.S. RG motor on the side for 225.00. I could not pass it up lol.

yes thats right & yes thats a Rossi black magic
if it had a red block it would be a Rossi Maranello!
good bottom end but a bit hit & miss with the tuning due to the alloy carb, they had a tendency to throw rods through the casing when over revved too [X(]
the team guys used to run these on **63 pipes with a very long header!

This is a Ax Rossi Black Magic.... defo.... as mentioned by some of the other guys. Great engine, three needle carb is hard to tune but when you get there it's great.
Story goes the Rossi brother split a long time along Nova contiuned with car engines and Rossi specialised in Air and boat motors.... then started releasing Car engines again. Not made now and spares hard to get, Rossi Mamba is the updated BM
It's Little unusual as it needs a special 22 degree manifold aa the exhaust port is angled downwards
