Hello Guys..
I am selling a Hyper 9 buggy with a Castle Creations Mamba Monster 1/8th Scale & Castle Creations Mamba Monster 1/8th Scale Brushless ESC planted in it and its not even used once. The front tires are the Proline Badlands & the rear is the paddle tires. The reason of selling it that I am back into nitro now. PM me if anyone is interested. Cheers..

hi guys. need your expert opinion on a couple of things.
first, i'm now considering joining the truggy craze that's hitting dubai. thing is, i want try my hand in building a kit and but have no experience in the past. can a beginner actually do it?
second, should i decide to get a kit, any feedback on the hot bodies D8T? everything i read on amain seems to be positive.
TIA! [8D]

Building a kit will broaden your experience in this hobby, you just have to be patience and have an attention to details when building it, you will be able to learn, understand and get familiarize more about the parts of the buggy or truggy you are building.
No comment on the D8T, but would love to have mugen, X2 T or kyosho ST RR .... EVO soon!
BTW, I am not an expert, this is just my thoughts.

As has been said-building your car from a kit will help hugely when it comes to maintaining your car later-
knowing how it goes together will help in taking it apart later etc..
I'm a HPI stallwart and already have 3 currently and yes-they are good quality cars with easy to understand instructions,
parts easy to get hold of both in DXB and overseas..plenty of after markets hop up are available as well from many manufactures
I have a HB D8T kit currently waiting for collection in DXB-i will try to update as i build it..
Don't forget the D8T is a running chassis-ie no engine or pipe so you will have to cost that in !!!!
At the end of the day-you have to have fun and building it is all part of that !!!

RE: Dubai - RC Events
roadtrips...hot bodies, jammin (hong nor), mugen, AE, losi, kyosho...even tamiya...all good truggies. What we have found though (and a big reason for me to get a X2 truggy) is that the hong nor seems to be able to handle OUR track better...although it may be a bit heavier than say the mugen or losi, it's been found to be slightly stronger.
As a package and what is (and will be) available to us locally, I decided to go with the Jammin X2CRT Pro Kit. In addition, with many of my X1/X2 Buggy spare parts, and the spares many of those at the track have with us,....someone will most likely be able to help out if anything actually breaks.
At the end of the day, we all know most of our spares come to us via the internet and have to be ordered. Go with what you like and what makes you happy bro.
