I want to get back to racing and I would like to what category you guys race? And do u have a weekly races or meetup at the track? If I'm Not mistaken it's in al lisaili

RE: Dubai - RC Events
Hi 2ndT and welcome back to the fun.
We race 1:8 scale buggies and truggies, both nitro and electric at Lisayli.
Take the Dubai/Al Ain road towards Al Ain, take exit 37 after the Rugby 7's grounds and go left over the fly-over. Head straight and follow the road as it turns right. Take that road all the way to the end, go through the gate and the track is on your left.
We don't have that many 'organized' races, we just use the track to have some fun and practise. Races happen on occasion and we'll be holding one in the near future. Stay tuned, announcements will be made in this thread.

Looking good nitro.
Is the grub screw going into a metal or plastic part?
If it's plastic, just give it a good show until the threads bite. It should thread itself in. Just don't over-tighten it or it will strip.
If it's going into metal....then that's surprising that the threads weren't cut into it at the factory. I think ACE may have thread cutters.
Good luck.

It's the imput drive to the front diff
so yes it should have been cut before hardening.
Have tried already to cut a thread but it's
To hard. Back to the shop I'm afraid.

RE: Dubai - RC Events
king 44....
Take the Dubai/Al Ain all the way to exit 37 (Al Lisayli). If you're coming from Dubai, make a left at the top and another left over the fly-over. Keep going straight over the camel grate and follow the road as it turns right. Take this road all the way to the end. You'll turn left through some gates and you can't miss us.
If you're coming from Dubai, you will go past the Outlet Mall and then the Rugby 7's grounds, then the camel race track...all these on your right. The exit is the one after the camel race track.
Hope to see you tomorrow.
