Ahhhh....the Super Bowl....here's how my story goes sideslider.

So I made it through the day yesterday without hearing or seeing ANYTHING about the Super Bowl.

Sit down for the game with chips and salsa, other food on the go to be ready for half-time and a few cold ones on ice.

Watch the pre-game show, coin toss, Katy Perry, then the announcers say, "Kick off of Superbowl is next! Stay with us!"

This was immediately followed with a "FOX Sports in America Update" which proceeded, in just 30 seconds, to give an entire rundown of who won the Superbowl, the score, and show the 5 top plays.

I felt like someone had just kicked me in the gut.

What a monstrously moronic thing to do!!

I know of no less than at least a hundred people out here who did the same thing I did, but they went to Barasti to watch the replay only to see that air just before the kick off. The entire Dubai US Football team (The Eagles) were there to watch it. It wasn't pretty.


Spyder911 - I don't have any plans for running the cars this weekend mate. Life keeps rearing its ugly head into my weekends.[&o]

If you have a revo 3.3 already you should buy a different type of a r/c sar like a 1/10 scale buggy.

Why i should do that? There is no monster clas? Or is forbiden to race in tracks with monsters? Btw, in few days/weeks i want buy Traxxas E-Revo Brushless. What you thik about it?

Spyder911..Its not forbidden to race in tracks with monsters..I owned a E-Revo brushless and its a strong truck. The only flaw I found is the plastic spur gear..What batteries are you planning to run it with?

In begining i'll standard. After some time i'll go to lipo. What type of rc is most popular there monster, sc truck, buggy or truggy? Becouse only bashing is not interestig. And i'll go for some race for that i need buy corect R/C model. What you can offer?Maybe anyone knows good shop here? At this moment i found only two hobby zone and hobby home.

2 time payment: 150 aed only

Weekly Stage payment: 50aed only
Entry to 1 stage

In order for this event to be competitive, we suggest a minimum grid of 12 drifters wherein 8 will only qualify to get a stage win every week

The Dubdrift 2012 Extreme RC Drift Championships is good to go and take off on Friday February 17, 2012

Location: Oud Metha, Dubai (Area2)

Registration will start @ 4pm

We request you to come on time so we can properly brief all judges, marshals and competitors as well

What is required:

1:10 RC Drift Car with Tx and Rx
Batteries
Open and Cheerful mind (with smile)

Trash Talking Abilities

For racing a monster truck is not the way to go trust me I have a t max and its not a race R/c car by all means. You can get a 1/10 scale buggie or a 1/10 scalestadium Truck I got a traxxas slash and It's very fun to race but alot of people in dubai race the buggies. so its really up to you I would just say don't buy another revo if you already have one. Try another type so you can feel the differance. Monster truck is not for racing just for bashing.

it not the same track tommygun, that one is in El Bedayer, havnt been there but I remember the person who was telling us about it when were at the last meeting in Nad Al Sheba
