engine for my mbx5r ps
g'day all , i just bought a mint ex race mbx5r ps roller and i cant choose what engine to run , i no ino there are tons of post's on this but i thing is i dont wanna race it at all just bash able to hold a tune and start all the time lol . i have a axial .28 spec 1 already that i have in a custom himoto 1/10 stadium truck wich hammers and is a easy engine to run and tune . i was gunna put the engine in it and maybe will but what ather options are there , i dont wanna spend more than 130 or so on it . i was looking a the hper21 pro silver head one or maybe go with a cheap .28

im assuming you prefer a pullstart. try the sportwerks .26 v2 http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...oducts_id/7458
only problem i can see is the motor mounts wont allow for a pullstart or rotostart. you might want to check on that

ohhh ok yeah a pull start is what i want , its got the low engine mounts in it , do you no what mounts i need for a pull star motor ????

im not sure since i dont have a mugen but based on other buggies ive had im gonna say that you are gonna need different motor mounts. i'll let someone who owns one tell you for sure though

If you are racing the sportwerks is not a good choice. Stick to .21's which are pretty much more power than you will ever need as it is.

yeah just gunna bash it the sportswerks looks like a great motor just with shipping to australia its gunna be a bit price'y , iv been looking at the go.25 or go.28 engines they look good and very cheap . also with the engine mount i might just space it up to fit the pullstart.
