Are There Any Electric/Brushless 1/8 Buggies Out There?
I would love to have a top-tier 1/8 scale buggy that was brushless, instead of nitro. Does anyone make them?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The only buggies out of the Manufactures box that is an RTR for Brushless 1/8th scale is the Losi 8ight Brushless and I know Castor has an RTR coming out also. All other would be converstion kits.

novak makes conversion kits for quite a few buggies. buy a roller, get the kit and motor/esc and you're good to go. They have 6-7 of them I believe.
Other than that the eight really is the only one.

you got the losi E 8ight and then the casters
http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_...ducts_id/28061
All of casters are built for electric and are not conversions.
http://casterracingusa.com/home.php?cat=1
They also make rtr and pro kit.

If I could really dream big, I would love a Mugen Prospec with a sensorless brushless setup!

If you got a Mugen, then you could get this [link=http://holeshothobbies.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=23&products_id=186]mugen conversion[/link] It is a 100% bolt on conversion including a NEW Chassis that fits the MBX5R

Do the kits on rc-monster have EVERYTHING for the conversion? I haven't looked into this in a long time, but what put me off before was having to order various parts and minutiae from several vendors and cobble everything together. Then there was often required grinding, bending, etc. Nothing wrong with that, if you enjoy it, but I'm wanting an all-inclusive kit that bolts right in.
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Yeah, RC-monster's kits are bought piece by piece (on the same site) and you build it like you want to. If you want a bolt on kit, I'd suggest www.rcproductdesigns.com. They have a mbx5 kit available that's bolt on.

Looks like you guys are getting low 30's from your video... not bad... The lipos are a bit small for my tastes. What's the C rating on those, and what are the specs of the motor you're using?
And finally... what's it going to cost?
