Anyone know if you can use lipo's in the RTR starter box? Or can it be converted to do so?

i dont know if any one else has had this problem but i got mine about 2 weeks ago.. broke it in and all that good stuff and ran it once at the track and noticed it wouldnt stay started and had a nice grinding noise coming from the clutch bell area.. so i took it to hobby shop to have them look at it and they pulled the motor and took clutch bell off and it had no back bearing in it from the factory.. so i got all new parts it chewed up the fly wheel with the bell housing. so they had to replace the hole clutch assembly..

Call Losi, show they the pictures and they will replace it for free. Is it the RTR or race roller? RTR they will do that, but if you got the race rolelr and didnt put a rear bearing in, .

Last post was 08/09. Seems like no one has problem with their respective Losi 2.0. I would really like to have this kit, it's a toss between mugen mbx6 and losi 2.0.

i mean its like my old 1.0 still does the job pretty good ... and that makes it hard to justify 500 for a race roller.

the differences from 1 to the other are night and day....yes the 1.0's work but the 2.0's are Just that much sweeter.

+1, just alot of subtle changes make it a completely different buggy!

The arms are a different material, new front and rear hubs, new lighter shock towers with simpler mounting positions, shimmable rear diff case, longer chassis, new brake dics, 4mm turnbuckles (they look alot nice and save weight), radio tray, it all adds up.

unboxed it tonight and i have soome noob questions...
it came with two black plastic multi tools. one is the plug for the exhaust to kill the engine. the other end adjusts the tie rods. it has a slot in the center that i cant figure out what its for. the other multi tool has what looks to be a 17 mm hex head in the middle, a slot on one end and a socket on the other. i cant figure out what the hex in the middle is for and the slot on the end. the starter box also came with a piece of black plastic. cant figure it out either. i couldnt find anything about it in the manual. i dont see what i need it for, but im sure i do or they wouldnt have included it.
i also read about setting the end points on the servo travel(so i dont fry the crappy rtr servos). how do you know where it needs to be set. just set it so that it doesnt bottom out and try to keep pushing causing stress on the servo gears? do you adjust them on the transmitter or on the kit or both??

thanks.

RCTech is cluttered with newbies who don't know how to spell, multiple threads on the same subject, and every question thread ends up being 5 pages long because of arguing and flaming other people/products.

Try this, takes a while to get used to though.
