My Ideal 2.0 would be:
Castle-Neu combo
5s lipo
Spektrum 2.4

I've only run one pack through it so far. I do plan to race it at my local track.

how much did it cost all up?
I'm not really shure if I want to add it all up LOL.

Let's see
2.0 roller $570.00
Castle-Neu combo $275.00
2.4 RX $89.00
Transponder $104.00
2 zippy 5s 4000 lipos $196.00
Futaba S9156 servo $114.99

I also got a few extra bodies, wings, wheels, tires, shocks, shock oil, springs etc. $ 400.00

I had 4 battery packs that I can run it on and bought two more.

I'm shure i've left out a few items

I'll post pictures of the other bodies mounted when I put them on.

I ran ofna 8 and 8.5 and this buggy right out of the box blows them away. It flies like a plane and nothing slows it down. Even with the stock losi 350 engine. I can't wait to drop a os vzb in her. I was at the track for the first time in almost a year yesterday. First tank on the track was kind of all over the place and when I got my skills back I was jumping triples huge doubles Just having a blast this is one of the best out of the box RTRs I have ever seen. At the track I go to the guys run the smart diff only in the center one, makes sense. But with a good set of servos and my os vzb this buggy will be crazy fun. What a blast. Post some photos later. I am a bit dissapointed soo far for two reasons.
The first is after buying their charger(LOSB9605), it did not come with an Ec5 connector and bullet for the charger which is what is on the battery they reccomend(14.8v 5000Mah losi battery). I had to resort to taking the Ec5 connector off my ESC to put on my charger, not that big A deal!

Second reason is for my second run, I decided to activate the reverse feature and it did reverse and would never go forward again. I set back to factory default and no luck. Tried the reverse feature again and no luck. I took the pinion off and the motor shaft wont turn while giving throttle. The shaft will turn by hand and is not binded up. I already sent email to Losi but im still bummed after waiting for all my parts to get delivered and getting everything together soo I could run it for 30 frikin minutes.

I have read off problems with the excelron stuff but decided to give it the benifit of doubt since I already bought it!
The car however seems to be a great buggy, considering some of the other brands I have purchased it the past.[][][][]

Why would you want to use the reverse anyway? And I thought you meant a transmission reverse.

Well im pretty good about not crashing but since I've been running nitro for past 10 yrs with no reverse, thought I'd give it a try for around my house just like old times with electrics. Nitro's were so much more fun for me untill now with lipos battery time and brushless speed.

its all good, since Losi wont run, had to break out the old nitros for some fun bashing. I thought a new elctric would be less troublesome, GUESS NOT!. LOL

I just recently acquired a used Tmax which does have reverse, I upped it to 2.5 conversion, guess Ill go run it for awhile now since the Rusty is all dialed in!(been running it today, new motor well broken in(beast).
I guess with all new cars come with problems and I am pretty impatient, High Expations and low results.. BOO HOO[sm=sad_smile.gif][sm=72_72.gif][sm=wink_smile.gif]

I also have both smart diffs on the way in the mail. I was gona try it out with out first to get a feel for the car, then install and see the difference.
Maybe I'll do the center first and then the front to get a better feel!
Should I really trash the excelerion and just get a mamba and be done with it?

That's what I said I don't care they are all losi buggies or truggies. I was just letting them know that I think there is a electric thread and they would know all about it. I don't know the first thing about electric buggies. That is all I was trying to say. You are very welcome here, I don't run this and I was by no means trying to be a jerk. So please don't any body blow this up. It is over, stay and enjoy.

Losi 8ight-E 2.0 The center smart diff 48t does not fit where the stcok 45t goes unless im doing something wrong. Its 3 teeth bigger than stock and rubs on the bottom of the chassis!
Losi states its a dirrect drop in(LOSA3601)
