NEW BUGGY
Im looking into purchasing a Buggy Kit and Ive narrowed my choices down to 3. And I would like to get some input not on your favorites but more along the lines of durability, handling and part availability. So if you have seen any of these buggies and have some input please feel free to post what youve seen.

RE: NEW BUGGY
outta what you got down i picked 808. i never hear nothing bad about them, only good. id say rc8 after that cause i see so many of them and people are happy with them. with the bx6...i til recently was an inch away from getting one myself. i see a lot of them around but, i actually see it breaking. last weekend freind of mine snapped the ballhinge coming out of the a arm on right side. the guys a great driver too. this as well as the fact iv seen him with a few tunability issues(but this is going to be ther case with any new buggy)
interesting choices you have hope it works out

RE: NEW BUGGY
I voted X-ray because i only had one choice. I'd equally have the Mugen though. I think both of these are slightly better than the RC8 in terms of quality. Performance wise they are probably indistinguishable.

RE: NEW BUGGY
I would go with the Xray 808. They look very well built. Even though the Mugen MBX6 and and RC8 are very very good. In my opinion, Xray is top of the line. Then Mugen. Then Associated.

RE: NEW BUGGY
I guess the reason Im asking is because im an OFNA loyalist, And it seems OFNA and Associated Parts every hobbyshop ive ever been to. But I hardly see TEAM XRAY parts. I guess im just concerned about parts availability. Well any other input you guys have ill appreciate it.

RE: NEW BUGGY
Get a RC8B or a 8ight 2.0 and smile knowing that you can get parts
localy without having to order them from the old country. Now if
you LHS carrys Mugen or Xray great but breaking your car two days
before a race in practice and having to next day air in a part sucks

RE: NEW BUGGY
i carry most of the spare parts with me to all races no matter what car i drive because there is not always a hobby shop sitting by the track. also i drive a car that several of us in our little group drive so if i don't have the right part one of the other guys will. that being said, pick he car you like and if possible one that the gang you run with also races. now that all that is out of the way, i drive mugen and have no problem with breakage. all car break and wear out but the mbx6 is one tough buggy. if i didn't drive mugen it would be the xray for sure.

RE: NEW BUGGY
I have a MBX-6 and I think it is the best buggy I have had so far. I also have an O'Donnell buggy but so far I still prefer the Mugen. X-Ray parts are way over priced for my liking but thats just me.

RE: NEW BUGGY
+1 for Losi, parts availability is quite important. Plus, 8ight 2.0 is a nice buggy.
