Default How long do buggy tires last?

I just picked up my first buggy. The tires were pretty well worn, so i ordered a full set of these:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=310129893916

My question is do they last well? I dont want to buy tires all the time. I mainly run in grass, hard packed dirt, and blacktop. Should i swap them out for my worn out tires when i run on blacktop, or will they last long enough not to worry about swapping tires/rims. Im used to MT's where a good set of tires last practically forever. If these tires i ordered wear fast on blacktop though, Ill swap tires to keep from killing them when i run on the street. I dont race any, unless a track opens at the LHS this summer, like there was some talk of. Anyways, just looking for opinions. Thanks guys![8D]

Those are the Proline Badland knock-offs. From what I've heard, the rubber is rock hard, so they should last a long while. Not sure what kind of punishment the rims can take.

Also depends heavily on how hard your drive it.

+1. I see a lot of people flooring it around the whole track, and it just goes, main tires for nxt quals, then practice tire. So bascially 3 runs out of them. I drive really smooth (in order to save tires) and I just went to the track and ran 10-15 tanks (track was dry) and tires are still at about 95% (aka cityblock/i beam). Of course, AKA tires have designed wear capabilites in them unlike Proline. [:'(]

Thanks guys! Since im not racing, a hard rubber compound will be good for me, since i mainly want them to last for a good while. I couldnt pass them up for the price. Not sure when they will be here, but im ready for them[8D]

I cant hold my buggy straight at all on the blacktop right now, and it just spins in the grass. Mine are bald!

I have a set on my duratrax raze and they are great tires. I drive on the road and grass and the compound is great for all surfaces. I picked up a few sets from that seller. I am still running the first set.
