Default ofna tq7 .21 black addition ?

I was looking into getting one of these and was wondering a couple of things, would this buggie be better than the ultra one, and it says to run 10-15 % , but i ran 20% in all my other nitros, would this be a problem if i ran 20% in the tq7 thanks

20% should be fine.

The hyper 7 tq black is a great buggy. Ibought mine a week and a half ago and its a tank and handles really well too. the ultra one looks to be a good buggy also, but seems more basher grade, and the hyper series is more race bread imo but can also bash with the best of em.

either way i dont think you will be dissapointed with those ofna buggys.

this article reviews both, as well as other 300 dollar buggys

i have a tq 7 and ive ran 30% in it since the day i got it...did a good breakin on it and ive ran several gallons of fuel through it with no problems yet and its been driving pretty hard back yard bashing and stuff...its a good buggy just get better servos right away cause it comes with crappy plastic gear ones.

Mine is for sale here http://www.rcuniverse.com/market/item.cfm?itemId=566940 . Runs great nothing wrong with it. I have moved up to 1/5 scale gas so I no longer need my nitro stuff. Ran with traxxas 20% top fuel.

when you order it make sure you at least order a steering servo. The stock ones are plastic geared. It only took one hit of the front wheel to strip my stock one out. Made for a short day at track.

+1 I have bbeen runnning a 645 for over a year now and no issues!

You won't be disappointed with the Hyper 7, great starter buggy, and has a TON of aftermarket parts to get it geared up for racing... may be an older platform, but with the right setups can run with the best of them

Did you take your 1/5 up to Springwater and run in the Bajafest in early September? Nice Hyper btw. Is there any RC tracks in Corning? Any good Hobby shops?

No I missed it. I just got my baja about 3 weeks ago. I was checking out some of the video's looked like a good time. I will definitely be there next year if they do it again. As far as tracks I was running down in wellsboro pa. its the closest one I could fine. No decent hobby shops local either. I usually go to singer hobbies in wellsboro also. I really liked the nitro buggy and racing it on a track but now I got the baja I have no interest in running the nitro at all. Nothing like running a chainsaw on wheels .

the pro editions often have PBS suspension, or lightened aluminum parts... Post up some pics when you get it and we'll be able to better help you identify exactly which version you have...

As far as other differences, the Black edition has Black splash guards and features. The TQ is a basic model... any pro edition will have a variety of different features that make it more of a race ready version.
