some people use a starter that you can use a drill on. it goes onto the crank, traxxas uses them in the tmaxx I cant remember what they are called. I prefer starter box. I dont want anything hooked up to my engine sept a flywheel and a clutchbell. nice one gradee, let me know how that push starting works out for you lol.

bump box is the only way to go in my opinion...I've had roto starts, tiger drives, and pull starts...all of which you havta have them pesky one way bearings....get ya a starter box and set it up for your buggy and you will see what we mean

amain, fleabay....might look into the himoto box...twin motors (good power) and has 3 options to power it.. 2 nihm sticks, 12v gel cell and jumper cables...I have it and like it a bunch....ofna makes real good bump boxes as well (prolly the best actually)..but they are usually a bit more

Nice gradee
Im actually using an AE silver bump box with a massive towerhobbies sealed led acid 12v battery jammed into the box, it barely fits but just perfect. I must say this setup kicks serious *****, I can run this thing for a week straight without charging the battery and I have had it for over 3 years now.

The duratrax universal starter box is one of the best deals IMHO I got mine plus a 12V gel cell batt & charger all for under 80 bucks from My Atomic. Has dual 550 motors, and I can use it with all my 1/8 & 1/10 scales pretty good setup for the price
