RE: Wanting to start in nitro buggies, looking for tips
Hello Tibarus, yes a question like that can really start a heavy debait.
VPOWER, duu, mmm, I wunder if you really ever had a Tamiya??? I've still got mine, its a Sand scorcher from 1983ish, I've had it since new and NEVER had a problem with it. Even now I can just take it outside and blast around with it, fantastic car, got it from my grandad when I was 12, I'm now 38, I even take it with me to work sometimes just to play with during dinnertime.[8D]
Yo Chris RC stay COOOOL dude[8D]
by the way, our shop here in Belgium is the only one in Belgium who has EVERY SINGLE PIECE for Kyosho whether it be on road cars or buggies.
(((((KYOSHO ROCKS THE OFF ROAD SCENE)))))) no mistake about it and there prices are top notch.
that is not meant to be an insult to anyone.[>:]PEACE OUT

Tibarus, have you considered the Kyosho MP7.5 MK3, it has the GX21 engine which is a bit better than the GXR28.
If you do get the US sport or MK3 dont forget to get a failsafe, othere than that the only othere things you could do to inprove it are change the steering servo (the original is a bit weak) and get a metal centre gear (the original is plastic), apart from that they are both top of the line race buggies that will take alot of punishment both on the race track and just bashing around for the fun.
Night night, time to go to bed.Zzzzzz[:@]

That one person is right there are alot of good buggy/truggys out their, you should really go to a good club race here in southern california or call REVELATIONRACEWAY or go to revrace.com and there you will find what cars are running every weekend.Yes'I will admit I Drive for TEAMTAMIYA,but thats what i run' It might not be the one that wins that weekend. There are so many factors on what will make a buggy run the way you want it to.It's not only what make your running 'it could be Radio setup, servos,Tires, motor ,clutch, and setup of your Chassis...etc. So do your own investigating and you will find a machine to your liking. GOOD LUCK and HAVEFUN ; Ricky Racer (TEAMTAMIYA,KOPROPO radio servos,VPpro Tires,M2c racing, thank all my sponsors for beleiving in my driving skills even only being 11 years old ).
