Duratrax tires?
Has anyone tried duratrax tires? I read a review on bigsquid of the shotguns and they seem pretty good for practice and club racing.
$50 for a set of premounted race tires seems pretty good. Then again I can get a set of premounted PL calipers from my LHS for around $65. Would it be worth the extra $15 to get the prolines?
I'm gonna be racing at dirtburners in st louis this year. I would appriciate anyone's tips for tire selection that race at dirtburners.

I'd rather go with a name I trust, it's kinda like comparing Michelin tires to a no name set of four for 100.00. For the budget buy, bashing/once in a while racer sure, on a competitive level I like to stick with whats known.

RE: Duratrax tires?
Every company that makes tires, makes a tire for every track condition, wheather it's rubber composition, to tread design, so I highly doubt missing the perfect tire is possible, I use a product that I know is not going to come unglued or tear in the middle of a main, I made that mistake before, this is why I glue my own tires as well.
