RE: Starter buggy
i would go with the OFNA PICCO. its a great brasher and if you decide to race it will be very competitive also, i have seen people win club races with ones straight out the box plus a better steering servo. the hyper 7 isnt that good IMO, i have had one and i liked it and all but the picco is a hundred times better, i would have bought the picco if they were making it when i started. the hyper 7 is a very old design and it has the old style shocks which make a huge difference in both durability and a performance.

Jammin X1 its almost race worthy out of the box(needs a better steering servo), can be upgraded to a jammin x2 for around $150, and built like a tank and costs $340 at amain

do NOT get an LX, they are a hunk of junk. you will be fixing them more than actually driving them. and if you ever decide to race you will be WAY behind with it. not a good buggy for anything. PICCO, Jammin x1, and hyper 7 will be the ones to get. i have a x1 with a x2 conversion and engine im selling but no servos or radio. im switching brands.

If you want a begginer that can still win races at a very low price go for the caster racing zx1.5 rtr very good allrounder nice speeds and very sturdy.
And yes the most annoying thing is when you have to break in a engine.
