I want to build a new hull for my gasser my last was 2" foam covered with epoxy but its getting beat. So i was thinking of making another foam hull but skinning it with 1/4 luan. what would hold the wood better to the foam epoxy or ca glue im gonna skin the whole boat top bottom and sides

You dont think 1/4 is too thick(heavy)?
I usually use 1/8 on all my boats for the skin.
Not sure on the glue though, I generally use polyurethane glue.

You wanna use Gorilla glue - I just used it to glue 1/32 veneer on foam and it was AWESOME just make sure you have it weighted /taped down good or it will expand and makea bubble. works fantastic /Permanent. My last hull was foam with HPL laminate on bottom - SLIPPERY and pretty durable (know to run on ashphalt) but a little brittle and chippy - especially on asphalt. I went with cedar strips on this one - over foam.
