What size prop could I use with a 3900KV out runner and a 2 A speed controller?

Not enough information to give you an informed answer. How many volts? Exactly what battery? How big is the boat? What size is the motor? A 2 amp ESC will not be enough for anything resembling performance, unless your boat is well under 15" it will barely move.

I'm not worrying about perfromance (Old Guy) I am thinking about a L'il swamp buggy. The motor and ESC are a matched set and I want to use a 7.2V 1100mah 2S lipo.
